Hotel Sawera Grand

It wasn't far away from the Golden temple and nearby markets.

The room was dirty, the bed was dirty, the bathroom was dirty. Two different handles broke off doors and the refrigerator was filthy.

The location of the hotel was close to all attractions, e.g. Golden temple.

The room was small. No natural lights or windows. The room light was very dim so we didn't like it at al. Wifi internet was poor. Time to time the bell used to ring without any reason. Seems it needs fix.

The hotel staff was very cooperative and the food was delicious and the hotel location near to golden temple is only 800 meter only 10 min walking distance

The accessibility for food and other stuff is great .

The Hotel is having all very old amenities. Very old TV units and bathroom accessories.Poor wifi and mobile signal is not available all part of hotel, even inside the room it's not proper.Break fast is just name sake with repetitive dishes every day. Need to refresh the menu.

Property is centrally located

Requested for airport pick up however pick jup fid not appear. Had to make a few calls to check n finally staff arranged for Uber. Uber refused pickUp and had to look for own transport

Overall experience and services were good and staff was really cooperative .

No dislikes as such, rooms were very small and compact with no windows

Breakfast was ok and the location was very good for walking to the sights such as Golden Temple etc.

In the room description it said "balcony with city view". The only view was across the road to the derelict building opposite.There was building work continuing during my stay which l was not warned about. It did not affect me while in the room but public area were hazardous with building materials lying about and noxious smells from chemicals being used.

This hotel is located at the centre of the city. Just a small distance from railway station, jalianwala bagh and golden temple. The check in was very quick and smooth. My stay was just for a day but the service was very prompt. Staff members were very kind and helpful. The housekeeping staff has been amazing.Ambience of hotel is very good and well maintained.Happy to be here. Will come back... Once again thank you everyone...!!

Location is great. Walking distance to all the major sites. Breakfast is decent if repetitive.

I stayed at this property 5 years ago and it was pretty good then. Sadly they have not kept up with basic maintenance. The heaters in the room did not work. No hand towels, soaps were provided and the towels were worn. The chair covers and seats in the breakfast area are stained and run down. The overall appearance of the hotel is run down like they have given up (except for the reception area).

I just had the most incredible stay at Hotel Grand Sawera! The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed. Plus, the hotel's location in Amritsar was perfect for exploring the city's attractions. And let's not forget about the delicious food at their restaurant – it was a culinary delight! I highly recommend Hotel Grand Sawera for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Amritsar!

Though ‘Sawera’ is based in an old & dirty back lane, it is walking distance to landmarks. Day time staff is helpful for small things.

- Locker / safe not working, no assistance provided. - You must watch one channel all the time on the TV because the remote doesn’t work; even after asking for help, no one bothered.- You need to validate room key every time you step out. - The evening-night duty manager has unfriendly manners.- Cold breakfast.- For the rate charged, a heater is expected. Rooms have no heater so beware if you are staying here in winter.

Great location and walking distance or a quick auto drive away from all big attractions. Limited food menu and choices which was frustrating and staff wouldn't allow room service orders when dinner was being served in restaurant. Driver was very good, professional and helpful

Just don't go there. Not worth your money

Arrived at 7.30pm, room was not ready - cleaning guy still doing something - was still dirty afterwards. Later on: staff cleaned the room next to mine at 2am (incl. Music). Only stopped after asking two times. Then my hotel card did not work: no electricity. But they did not charge the 200 INR credit card charges. Thanks ;)

Service, location, size of the room and food

Breakfast choices were not many. Could be improved. Asked for hard boil eggs and was told that it will take twenty minutes

I didn't like your statand room over àll stay comfortable but my room full of seepage and all seepage smell and no window and washroom head shawar not working I give 3 time complaint but no response and minibar fridge too.much dirty and also bed sheet not change
